El: Before you ask - Barrons had three mentions of COMPAQ today - nothing spectacular. Abelson mentions it in the tail end of his column in which he is talking about the history of the tech sector: then there is an article on President Bush joining EP on the baord of some internet company: then mention of a Japanese company doing well partly because it has contracts with COMPAQ.
