Everyone to the rescue, Thanks for the enthusiastic responses regarding my taxes. As I recall, the kiplinger tax cut program i've used the last two years allowed me to add additional pages to report more buys/sells when the initial number of entries were filled up. I'll open up the program again before filing this year to make sure I can add as many pages as necessary. I use dreyfus brokerage and will have to see what they have offered in the past as far as year end mailings. Its all very clear now that the organization of these trade confirmations received from my broker is something not to be put off and placed in a pile to "file later". I guess it's time to dig out the paper work and develop the most efficient way to organize this crap..... Thanks again, Man ps...doing taxes is no biggie to me. You should have seen my girlfriend fret over her taxes last year. Just a straight filing but she worried since she not a numbers person. I asked her for her W2's and sat at the computer for about 5 minutes and PRESTO ! they were done. Should have seen the smile on her face.....
