Saul who was also called Paul said that he was torn between going or staying saying that he didn't know which would be better but for the sake of others, he wished to stay (for a while). It's not a big deal either way if you are firm in your faith of the resurrection. It is a big deal for someone whos' only possessions or expectations are in this life but for someone who has "fought a good fight... finished the course...(&) kept the faith.", there is a great expectation of all of the fullness of eternal life.

"Fate" is something to consider if you plan to do something dangerous or hazardous to your health because fate could work against you, especially if you (or I) are relatively unknown or poor. Something as simple as where you live can determine your fate. These are all things to consider but the most important thing to consider, I believe, is what you believe. We must believe the truth and the truth, I believe, is that Jesus is G-d. If you believe the truth and act accordingly, it makes little difference what happens to you.
