Would you wish for her to also give up some of the "extras" of her life to maintain your a bit longer? How far would you want her to carry on? If an extra year of my life(at a very low quality of life) were to cost her 10-15 years wages, I'd rather simply go. I'd don't wish to endanger the monetary survival of those I love.
