I agree.
The source code is the ultimate API. Forcing Microsoft to
publish API's without the code is not enough. Even an API
may not give enough detail about what's going on and you have
to take their word for it.

Could you please list some specific examples here? As a Microsoft Developer, I receive tons of documentation and sets of APIs that allow me to do this already ... what specific areas are you talking about?
