Microsoft will pay for its greed but its enemies will pay for their envy. By inviting the US government into this fantastic industry, which has rewarded us all, we can all look forward to empty headed politicians throwing their weight around and applying ancient legislation (the Sherman Anti-Trust Act) which will threaten the very core of free enterprise which IMO the high tech industry personifies. So Larry Ellison, Scott McNealy, and other MSFT bashers have no reason to celebrate. They have opened a Pandora's box and in the end they will rue the day they decided to take Bill Gates to court. Message to lawyers drooling over future litigation against MSFT: any company that hires you for that purpose is as short sighted and greedy as you are.
By the way don't worry about Microsoft; they will sign a consent decree and move on...I am long the stock and have no intention of selling and if others are stupid enough to sell then I will gladly buy their bargain priced shares.

Brian. RE: Counting their chickens way before they hatch.

This word Hatch is making me sick. Being a Republican I can't believe that guy ORIN HATCH. Sheesh. A lot of this was brought on by his desire to protect a Utah industry, IMO.
