Donald: the point is that the indices the post refers to are arguably the most dynamic in the market. The post is an update on the performance of those indices (double top? breakout?) and a reminder that major components/bellwethers of that index are lagging it.

The post also mentions one individual's performance relative to the dot, and suggests two possible explanations for the performance divergence. I am hoping that others may offer me additional insights. Finally, as I have noted in the past, the value of my portfolio mirrored the April dot blowoff. As such, others might find its current status of interest.

I understand that your focus is in the broad market indices. But others may find posts about specific indices of interest. If not, I'm happy to confine them to the amzn thread.

ps. On a personal note, of course I'm happy with this past week. But I still wonder why I can't at least track the dot, because that's the sector I invest in. Since I'm not tracking the dot as well as I'd like, I'm airing my dirty laundry in the hopes that there might be other explanations than that I'm just a mediocre stock picker or market timer.
