Web Street recommended a minimum of a Pentium 233. By execution speed I only meant getting screens to load faster on my end. I know from that perspective it works. I had a Dell with a 200mmx. I'm on a dsl line with others in the household. When I tried another computer with a Celereon 466 that was already hooked up on the same line I got to the trading password faster then with my computer. I know that once I click the mouse my computer has no influence on the speed of the trade.

I agree, I'm a computer consultant. Upgrading from a 200 to a 466 isn't going to make executions go any faster. The internet connection is the bottleneck. I run 128k ISDN at home with a k62/400 and 256megs of ram, and it didn't make any difference between my second computer K6200 with 96 megs of ram. They also told me that using IE 5.0 was why i was having problems, and told me to use Netscape 4.7. That's a joke. It's their clearing house that is the main problem, as well as their slow servers. I left webstreet a few months ago and am using www.cybercorp.com . I am very happy with their executions, it's almost instantenous.
