John, I don't think taxman is doing cut and paste harrassment. Jesus! The entire media and industry is processing the impact of this case over the weekend, and that processing will clearly determine the stock price next week. Taxman is doing us an immense favor. A jam session among only SIers this weekend would not tell us a thing. Jill

I agree on some points and not on others. The judge did not dismantle anything; he simply made a declaration of guilt while ignoring all MSFT's witnesses and Fisher from the government's side who declared that MSFT had not harmed the consumer but MIGHT in the future. Pure speculation not jurisprudence. JFD He did consider MSFT's witnesses. He believed, as a jury might in a jury trial, that they weren't credible and chose to side with the government. That's the point I disagree with you one. The point that I agree on is that the judge must be watching too much Star Trek and believes that Microsoft has stifled the development of the Warp Drive, the M5 Unit, Nanites, the Positronic Brain, the Transporter, and only God knows what based on Inverse Tachyon Pulse effects.
