the key is PROFITABILITY. so far i have seen nothing out of any web company that says they will dominate anything. Whoever it is that comes up w/ the business plan to dominate the web has not emerged yet, imo. <<<<

What you say is so basic and simple, and eventually profitability/earnings is what will be the main issue. The INTERNET is a great step in technology for the masses and is here to stay, but eventually it will become the norm and no longer will be new. As an anology we had the main computer rush years ago and then came the IOMEGA MANIA. The INTERNET will become the norm and the stock prices will be dictated, as you say by profitability and will come down to earth. However, mini-manias like the IOMEGA MANIA will pop up.
