(OT) What I really meant to say was that I try to only invest in the IPOs of really, really good companies, even if I am only playing short term. Why? Cos if the stock tanks after the IPO (e.g. USIX) at least you'll have something in your portfolio with decent longer term prospects. The three Qs: Quality, Quality, Quality.

We don't want the hot ones, we want the ones that will make us money.
