Go get the culprits. This has been a costly experience for me and has done considerable damage to a good company, possibly the best potential diamond play on the TSE. Please keep us up to date on developments as they unfold. You are referring to re-instating Dr Jennings. Has something happened in the last few days that we are not aware of?

Hello Crudestope. If true , I stand corrected - there are grassy knolls and multiple gunmen behind the Chart from Hell! ;-) As for a "smear campaign" designed to unseat CJ and create disunity within the BOD , well , it must be very old news because CJ told this hamster in March and on several occasions since that he was anxiously looking forward to passing the Prez baton on to someone else and re-directing his focus to that which I and several others have proudly espoused he does as well as anyone else in the world - finding diamonds. Moreover , while there were rumours of BOD disunity earlier this year , the addition of McCullough , Hardie and Ryan have dispelled those. I don't know if you have met these gentlemen , but they were more or less hand-picked by CJ , have great rep's and would not by any stretch of the imagination be susceptible to the dominant influence of any spirited Cdn. broker. I also understand that the search for a new CEO has in fact been conducted world-wide for 9 months now and I can only surmise that it was the BOD's confidence in the short-list that led to CJ's announcement earlier this month. I would strongly disagree that a Prez/CEO need have the leading expertise in the diamond industry that CJ or Gurney has - geologists often make the worst Prez's whereas a strong businessman with capital markets acumen can , with the right supporting tech staff , build a strong co. Look at Munk/Wilson at Barrick or Muller/Rumbouts at RXD. As for the trading action , I found it very telling that notwithstanding CJ's somewhat disparaging remarks about the regulation of Cdn mining investment community made during last week's conference call , the bashers of the stock were offshore-based whereas the supporters were domestic based. IOW unless we have really multiple gunmen, I can't figure it out. As for re-instating CJ as Prez , I vote no if the BOD can find a good Prez for the following reasons : 1) CJ can find diamonds better if he doesn't have to put up with BS like but not limited to analyst lunches , conference calls on Q results etc. , 2) Cdn. market has lost confidence in CJ as Prez (emphasis on latter two words), 3) a mining co. making the transition from explorer to producer needs a capital markets kinda guy/gal and 4) it's unfair to CJ , the co. and us after he has privately for some time and publiclly recently said he doesn't want the job. BTW and FWIW - I'm not a broker , have been buying SUF for 2 years and never sold. In two year's time , I hope we can both say the same. ;-). Regards and a good weekend.
