Krell KAV300i integrated amp (solid-state ... if you want tubes that makes an amp-speaker combo much tougher)
Low-cost wires and interconnects from, say, XLO or AudioQuest
(I don't believe in there being much bang for buck in wires)

That leaves you with speakers. Gotta shop them. You'll have $5-6k left for those. I like Magneplanars a LOT. Other good choice would be ProAc Response 2.5 or even the smaller 1.something. What all these speakers need is ROOM to play in unfortunately.

Maybe some pre-owned big boys like B&W 801s?

Leave $1k for Grado's best headphones and a dedicated headphone amp like the Creek.
