TW We don't get snow down here, but you are right about hydroplaning. I should have said "about" to hydroplane. Poor choice of words on my part. Actually, I was thinking about an incident on vacation with the family a few years ago, driving the old Chrysler van down the highway in a storm, barely able to control the vehicle because of the front end hydroplaning, having to constantly slow down to maintain control, stopping at some service station a long way from anywhere just to buy two front tires (actually only needed one, but the other was going to need it soon). Got full value out of those tires, but they should have been replaced just a wee bit sooner. <g> Troy
