reno & klein acted as if they'd just saved the world from a martian invasion or something. they just don't get it. they are the joke of the world. haven't seen foreign headlines but it must be something like: govt tells msft to cool it. i think the world assumes we are the greatest nation in spite of our govt

If this was a final decision it could really hurt gore and clintons popularity numbers which he cherishes. If MSFT would tank what would it do to the S&P 500, DOW, Mutual Funds and all those 401K's and retirement funds?
However in my view MSFT can drag this out for several years with appeals, etc.... Two things will then happen.
1. Ms Reno and the Lib's will be gone and a more capitalists will be in power. They will realize this country should treasure companies like MSFT not attack them. Maybe when Hillary is senator she'll tell Janet we now live in a global village..oops economy. I would prefer our companies in the US to be the strongest. Perhaps MR Gore has a deal with the Chinese to take MSFT down. hehehe

2. In several years........windows may not be an issue. By then the new technology will make this all a mute point.

If MSFT touches the 70's I'll be loading up.
