Thanks for posting these informative comments. In particular, the following quote:

Allow me to suggest an answer - DAMAGES. Companies doing business with MSFT were hurt. The facts speak for themselves. The companies are entitled to damages. This kind of thing happens all the time, regardless of the industry. You hurt someone, he prevails in court; you pay up. I recommend that every serious investor in MSFT read the entire 206-page factfinding document. Damages alone incurred by the likes of IBM, Apple, AOL (through Netscape), and Sun could easily reach $2 billion, if not more. This will make the tobacco lawsuits pale by comparison.
