Then why is Visual FoxPro 6.0 on my Visual Studio 6.0 CD. It also come with Visual SourceSafe which is integrated into the development environments I use (VC++6.0).

X the Redundant: Foxpro was bought for the sorting technology. The Professor/Chairman and largest shareholder of that private company was happy to take the 175,000,000 that he would never have earned as the comapny FoxPro. MSFT buys many of the companies for the source code and technology not for the brand name or management. When drug companies buy out smaller ones they are usually after the patents and formulas not the company. This is nothing but business as usual.JFD
