Bill, I thoroughly enjoyed the day. It kind of makes you wonder about the prep races when most of the favorites crap out, though. However, I don't think Chilukki ("drop the Chillukki") lost it as much as Cash Run won it. Chilluki was game and ran very fast, just not fast enough. Also, I disagree with McNair that he is just a sprinter. You can't tell that about a two year old. As he grows, his lungs and stamina may also. I really loved to see Cat Thief win. He's been a bridesmaid so often, they were about to change his colors to an ugly pink ruffled dress he'd never wear again. <g> I didn't like all the 14 horse fields on that narrow, too hard track. I am surprised they didn't have any serious injuries to the horses.
