Isn't this a load of baloney? Most of us consumers don't even use Windows 98, are still on 95. I downloaded IE off the web -- so when was I harmed? "A central point in the case was whether Microsoft's inclusion of its Web browser, Explorer, in Windows made it impossible for rival Netscape Communications to compete effectively with its product, Navigator. Even though the browser was given away as a free addition to Windows, consumers were ostensibly harmed because the method by which Microsoft included Explorer inhibited the use of Navigator, the judge said, and that reduced consumer choice and competition in browser software."
