Jim,

I am trying to find holes in the conspiracy, but not having any luck.

I found the original news releases from '98 between VIA and iNhEL but they all say "specifics were not released" or remain confidential.

"Occam's Razor" does seem to apply.

Didn't Motorola eventually get out of the TV business?
Maybe it's time iNhEL gets out of the mobo/chipset business.
The lame "solution" on the Rambust motherboard issue is another sign that iNhEL is desperate.

No wonder Grove left and Barrett is bailing.

VIA/FIC I believe WILL say something soon by disclosing the specifics, IF VIA chooses to fight; I hope they will.

The downside is Toshiba gave in.

steve

Re: "Had a conversation with some vendors and sales people today. They said when they brought up the Athlon to the Intel Reps that the Intel Reps got very defensive. "

Gee Jim this is really damning evidence. Have you contacted the FTC?
