Dear Mike M: You may very well be correct, but my comments are almost always in the context of long term ownership unless I state otherwise. Reason being, I am not a trader, I actually hate to part with a stock once I buy it as I do not find it easy to find a few really great companies which will go on indefinitely. For the reasons you stated I could not at this juncture consider MSFT a qualifed long term candidate. Again, I am not saying I know this for sure, as I dont, but there is enough question now in my mind that I would not buy it until the dust settles and we find out if in fact MSFT can remake themselves.
