>By the way , I heard somewhere this evening that Microsoft is seeking a settlement on this DOJ case of joke !!!! Hopefully , it will be announced next week !!!! I'd say that's baseless rumor. Bill Gates has said publicly that MS and the DOJ agreed that they wouldn't make public statements about any content of any ongoing settlement talks. I think this week is a little much to expect. It's too complicated to be able to settle in a week. Of course, I have no idea. It may happen, but I'd be surprised if it got settled that quick.
