I can't get a mental picture that works, either.

>>talking to themselves<< -- fortunately, most of 'em are very good at that.

If I were using the Peter Lynch approach to investing, I would have to cross this off my list. But he's ancient history to this market. Good thing, too - it's a lot of work checking out products and so forth.

No wonder TOY is having problems! <g>

Interview with John Fan of Kopin.

Radio WallStreet coverage of companies at:
AEA Financial Conference for Public Technology Companies, San Diego, Nov 8-10.

Dr. Fan on the CyberDisplay:

"...And what is it for? Because we believe that, in a digital wireless phone, in two years you can get everything by wireless that you can get on a desktop monitor today. And it's only about two years away. Our display, which is very small and uses very little power, allows this information to be displayed in the phone. Currently it's not possible because the display's too small, but we use a CyberDisplay which is very, very small, but magnified to your eye. Basically have your cake and eat it too."

He goes on to mention Kopin's camcorder and camera customers, but it sounded to me like he was presenting cell phones as the primary market.

There was also a WAVX interview on the agenda.
