sig -
you hit the nail on the head, at least as far as I am concerned. In my "day job" I have the benefit of knowing that at the bottom of the data there is an actual "right answer" - or at least that is what engineering is supposed to be about. There are no answers like that in the investment business. No matter how well you do, some folks have done a lot better. No matter how poorly you do, there are those who did a lot worse. At some point, I just have to say "this is all the attention my investments are getting" and let the chips fall where they may.

The existence of threads like this one have made it a lot easier to make smart decisions with less time on target. Once I learn how to read the various posters, I can pretty much expect that any important event affecting my investment will get mentioned and discussed. The general conclusions I arrive at have been more valuable than anything I got from the various brokers I used over the years.

Get a pitbull as a pet, then you will get more exercise than you need.

sig, rudedog, re: I would seriously consider the Janus funds
At least until Greg sets up a fund.(g)

PBHG technology and communication fund is a good one of lately, PBTCX is the symbol, I have some funds in that one.

Running a fund would be a great fun for me, since I never have enough money to invest in all the great stocks I see day in a day out.
