On Explorer (any version in the last few years) don't forget to set the separate process setting. When this is turned on each window you open gets it's own processes and memory space from Windows. Normally if a particular server page you are viewing, or java program you are running, hangs up or crashes your explorer window it will shut down all internet windows. However if you change this setting it only crashes the one open window. It can be a life saver if you are trading hot and heavy.

In an Explorer window. Click on the following menu choices. Tools, Internet Options. In that box, click the Advanced tab.
In the Advanced selections look under Browsing. Make sure there is a check mark in the box titled. "Launch browser windows in a separate process". You may have to reboot for this to become effective. It is totally transparent. You cannot tell any difference until the first time a single window crashes on you.

PS. I have on average 10 to 20 windows open, not all explorer windows, spread out over 3 19" monitors. I like to have lots of charts.
