capitalism must be held in some balance by some degree in govt regulation....the question is how much regulation (they ten to overregulate)...in the case of MSFT, i think it was an excellent ruling...should encourage a serious settlement....i truly believe MSFT used strongarm, ruthless tactics to crush and discourage competitors...at the eventual expense of tech and the consumer..(MSFT also did a lot of good stuff in the beginning to make us a leader in tech)...Hopefully Mr Gates won't be too adversly affter by settlemnt/ruling...his worth was ~$85 billion before judgement..even if it declines to $50 billion..i'm sure he will be able to provide well for his family and philantrophy...(maybe he should start budgeting)..I don't play my violin for the man..he has benefited well from the American way of business...

I hope the govt is passing a message to the telecom industry as well...i really don't want a monopoly dictating what is availabe by TV, etc..

I DO EXPECT TO SEE MSFT TO TEST ~$80 ON MONDAY...wish i could get a bet down (with odds) in vegas on that...say 3/1 odds...i'll put up $100 to make $300 that it will test $80 on monday...any takers?
