They started selling it at $250 and the price has come down substantially. ASUS priced its board high because of its good reputation and OC features on the motherboard. Here is some more data for you - Athlon proliferation of small computer stores in the Bay area based on the free publication "Computer Currents(CC)". I'll update it every time there is a new edition of CC, for the next two months. This may help us track the Athlon proliferation, and to see if Athlon would have any push effect on K6-xx sales.
