>>BJD: Rest assured that these bureaucrats own no stock. <<

rest assured that the spinmasters own a lot of stock...MSFT pays it's employees primarily with stock options..(which they don't count against earnings..workers for free!).....yes I do imagine that the governor of Wash and MS employees don't thing the judgement was good at all and will spin it as much as possible.....

I've read all the stories..and my impression (including input from overseas) is that the "spin is not working"...I do expect a SHARP decline Monday......amazing that IBM would lose 20%+ at the open a few days ago......this market is carried by just a few stocks...it think msft ~13%+ of total nasdaq cap..adding cisco, intc, dell drives it up to around 30% of nasdaq cap.....hmmmmmmm...i think i'll stay on the sidelines....i'm 89% in cash with most of the remainder in djx 112 dec puts and holdings long in two small caps (non tech).

but ya NEVER know for sure.....we will have to see what happens
