10-Q's vs. Earnings Releases

I think you meant to say, "(interesting how so many public companies are loathe to show their balance sheet; they never want to show them on their earnings releases)." All of DO's and RIG's 10-Q's have included balance sheets.

I agree with you, though. Many cash-poor companies choose not to show their balance sheet in earnings releases. That's why you often have to look at the 10-Q's to obtain any meaningful data on liquidity.
