If what the Fool switched to is speed with the new Akamai servers, I would hate to think what they considered slow.

I can vouch for often being able to run errands while I am waiting for each page to download at the Fool. Then again, I don't have broadband capabilities.

Not so fast, Len. What AKAM does is a very special kind of Caching for web content. NTAP speciality is file serving of all any files, not just web content. If AKAM competes with NTAP, it is in the web caching arena--less than 10% of NTAP's business.

I will be looking closer at this as time allows, but don't be misled by a very shallow discussion of a complex problem.
