No penalty etc has actually been applied yet to Microsoft.
In no sense has Microsoft been raped, that is just alarmist
language. Just because a company is large and successful, does that give it the right to break the law ? No one is
talking of "raping" Microsoft, just curtailing the abuse of
its monopoly position. Dont you want the *choice* to buy
a PC without a Microsoft product, if that is what you want to do ?

Do you like taxes? Why are you prepared to pay a Microsoft
Tax? That is, why are you prepared to accept that everyone
who buys a PC from a major supplier must pay Microsoft?

The next wealthiest Americans, namely Buffett, Allen, et al.

Then they'll go after you & I. Higher taxes, tariffs, penalties here and there. You can't do this and that.

Let's face it, you take a look at the Justice (sounds funny) department officials, at Janet Reno, these SOBs are ugly and mean looking folks. They are bitter, and in the case of Reno, needs diversion from their own lousy foul ups in recent years to salvage their pathetic careers.

First hundred of millions in the mismanaged military funds, 40+ in the Clinton sex scandal, and now 35+ in the MSFT case. There are hungry children in the world and in the US. They should have their priorities set correctly.

I'd like to hear from all you lawyers out there, especially the non-Ally McBeal types.

OFF TOPIC

First, MO, now MSFT. Who will be next?

I wish I knew exactly who, and when, so I could make a little profit on shorting. I only know that the WHO makes a product that causes bullets to fly.

Cheers, PW.
