While SUNW's position in the market place is vastly different than INTC or MSFT, it is certainly not more ethical or legal in its business practices than the other companies.

So if I understand correctly, your position is that it is simply random noise that led to the investigation of both M$FT and INTC but spared SUNW and many other companies? That is, SUNW, which you assert (without, of course, offering any evidence to back the assertion) "certainly" engages in the same illegal practices of which M$FT has been found guilty, is just kind of lucky that the DOJ hasn't caught on yet? Maybe they're going after the criminals in order of size? Or do you have yet another conspiracy theory?

Regards,

<<SUNW management has no interest in ethics per se. But would not want to appear publicly unethical. SUNW merely wants to win anyway that it can.>>

SUNW wants to win and is a great competitor, but how it wins does matter. Their record is clear, as well as MSFT's.

Do you work for SUNW? What qualifies you to make such an assertion?

When one speaks of arrogance I hope the mirror is near.

What is clear from your misinformation about SUNW's lack of research and other clueless statements is that you have no handle on what this company is all about. Reading JCJ, Qwiksand and Cheryl may help bring you up to speed.

I'm sorry but you are dead wrong on this one. I've work
at sun for the last 11 years and have recently retired
from there. Durring that time I've heard McNealy steer
people AWAY from doing things that were LEGAL but not
ethical. That is one of the primary reasons I stayed at
sun and turned down 2.5 times the salary to work at M$.
Sun has always tried to "play fair", hard but fair.
