Good analysis but ... Stocks like this go up on news and can stay up. Look at Comerce One. A similar TA on it a month ago would have pointed to staying out and waiting for a fall back. Same with Ariba, Broadvision and more. I think VerticalNet could do the same.

I guess what I'm saying is hot stocks in the b2b sector can leave you in the dust wishing you had gotten in. Better to pick the companies you like, buy and suffer the ups and downs.

Jeff
Thanks for the detailed response. Your knowledge of TA is obviously Head and Shoulders above mine. If you follow as many indicators as you mentioned isn't there always something wrong?
Cup/Handle
left side starts 7/19....55
Bottom 8/3 threw 9/29....35
right side ends 10/8.....60
handle 10/11 threw 11/2...60
now we have moved up against the old high which is now resistance, if we break out it could be big

B2B is going to be HUGE, this is maybe the BEST stock to own, if you're looking for a strictly B2B play. I am, that's why I'm here, best to all!!!
total agreement

Your biased to having the stock correct to price of 33 is wrong, at most we would see 59, in fact I see the stock as not over bought at all. We are at the high we had in April, sure we could get a little selling, but that selling is going to be met with buying by those investors that where left behind adding strength to the stock. A more likely scenario, is we have a blue sky breakout when investors see how strong the stock is and all resistance is taken out by passing the last high in April. Once VERT gets into the high 70s, 100 will draw the stock like a magnet.

Also, are short or long the stock or just looking?
