Microsoft will have chance to assuage the market/investors during their bean counter conference Wednesday. If they give upbeat projections the market won't care what happens in Washington DC.

I agree with your whole statement except the point about helping the United States. Do you really think that has anything to do with the case ? It is about power and most of all greed. clinton had a ton of campaign contributions from the silicon valley and msfts enemies. With that known, what would anybody else expect? It is about the money with a little bit of power thrown in. These are government lawyers with unlimited resources ( your tax money).
