Maybe you didn't have good rubber. Mine is a pleasure to drive on winding roads wet or dry. Never gotten it stuck in the snow either.
Most any auto enthusiast will tell you a rear wheel drive handles better than a fwd. I agree with them- but Fwd or Awd are certainly better to get traction in the snow. The brakes however, all work just the same.

So there- Now You get serious, bub. I bet you don't get any 'nice car' compliments in your cheap fwd Japanese car either. LOL

I did have an 86 Celica GT that really did handle well. Would have to say it was better than the Benz. It was also much lighter and shorter, which is an inherent advantage.

I am thinking of buying a MKII model Toyota MR2. I like their looks, and I hear they drive like a hot rod go-cart.
