You are arguing exactly what I was saying. It is extremely important to know what the divisor of the DOW is. You saying that you missed it in a news release is to me alarming. The divisor is the same for all DOW stocks and you should have known this as a derivative trader. There are NO weightings on the DOW!!! You are displaying an alarming sense of ignorance.

As the largest components of the XAU are hedgers it would make sense to me that the XAU and the POG would be somewhat inversely correlated.
