Yeah, I previously posted the text of this ad from the 11/99 RedHerring but I don't think this is what David had in mind?

On a more fundamental level, new G* ad is on p.243 of the 11/99 RedHerring. Q* phone shown with extended

Yes! One point for Freekbro. I believe we should give one point to djane too assuming Red Herring is a real publication (not just cyber) which I believe it is. Good to see the contest off to a quick start

Regards, Dave

Good target audience for G*.

I checked out the National Geographic website for info
on their Adventure Magazine:

nationalgeographic.com

And immediately read the article "Six Ways to Weather
the Mountain - By Charles R. "Butch" Farabee, Jr."

Check out tip #6:

6. Don?t depend on technology.
One techie recently got caught in a rain forest
deluge on Washington State?s Olympic Peninsula. He
hoped his cell phone would save him. He would have
been better served by a good set of water- and
windproof outerwear. His cell phone got wet, so did
he. The battery died, so did he.

... maybe the author should add tip #7: Get a G* phone!
