Your words are quite lovely. I wasn't aware that my challenging Tim when he was lying (the trip to Hong Kong and Hawaii, complete with fine details requiring a very imaginative mind) was somehow bad. Where I come from, the truth is the path to righteousness and glory.

And where in my message do you (and Tim) read that I doubted the veracity of Tim's messages concerning his ailing father?

I have lost family members to cancer, and I have also watched sons of mothers who died weep in sorrow at the loss.

Tim would not dare make such a story up. I for one believe him when he talks about his ailing father. For Tim to make up a story would most certainly evoke a karma that could not be reversed. No, Tim is most certainly caring for his ailing father. No one would lie about such a situation.

And as such, this is a situation that I feel deep empathy for Tim and his family members. I too have seen a frail body that was once the rock that I thought of as my Grandmother. I cried in private at the sight of this gracious and vivacious woman irreversibly tied to the oxygen that kept her alive. I watched her daughter loose a leg, then another to disease brought on by cancer, emphysema, and diabetes. I know the pain well.
