Pyng Medical Corp. Announces Growing Body of Clinical Data on the F.A.S.T.1 System for Adult Intraosseous Infusion VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 1999--Pyng Tech.(VSE:PYT. - news; OTC Bulletin Board:PYNGF - news) Pyng Medical Corp. (subsidiary of Pyng Technologies Corp.) learned this week that a key multi services study on the F.A.S.T.1 System for Adult Intraosseous Infusion involving hospitals or EMS services in British Columbia, Arizona, Virginia, Missouri, Maryland and New York was accepted for publication by the peer reviewed journal ``Prehospital Emergency Care'. The publication date is planned for early 2000 and should, coincidentally, be released at a similar time to the commercial release of the F.A.S.T. 1 System. In addition presentations were also made in late October at major U.S. and Canadian medical congresses for Emergency Medical Service (EMS) personnel and Emergency Physicians, on the ability of the F.A.S.T.1 System for Adult Intraosseous Infusion to gain rapid central vascular access in shock and trauma patients. Clinical papers were presented at the American College of Emergency Physicians meeting in Las Vegas involving the F.A.S.T. 1 System. Dr. Brian Tiffany and other medical professionals at Arizona Heart Hospital and Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix concluded that ``The F.A.S.T. 1 is a safe and effective means of gaining rapid intravenous access in cardiac arrest patients where conventional access is unsuccessful or too time consuming'. In an additional paper, Dr. Bruce Horwood et al Maricopa / Rural Metro in Arizona reported on their experience using the F.A.S.T. 1 System in the prehospital, paramedic setting and reached similar conclusions regarding the ability to achieve rapid central vascular access with the F.A.S.T.1 System. Also in October, Dr. Eric Grafstein of St. Paul's Hospital Emergency Department reported on his ability to gain rapid access using the F.A.S.T. 1 System at the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians Meeting in Quebec City, Canada.
