It will still hurt the NASDAQ. Yes MSFT is currently part of the DOW. Check Daily Graphs and look at the increased volume for the DOW thse past few weeks. That's due to INTC and MSFT. Since MSFT is high priced (91 a share) it will be a big factor in the DOW. If they drop 10 points on Monday, the Dow will drop 50 on MSFT alone.

All,
Here is what I am currently looking at for Monday. A response from as many people as possible on my best choice and why before 8:30 eastern time is greatly appreciated.

RFMD momentum play? Thed did just come out of a base.
VOX could they move Monday?
VSEA this group is hot on great earnings
EUSA are we attempting a base here?
ACRT we all have looked at them recently, but is it time to gander again?
INSUA They look purdy and sales are accelerating
KEI Will the break the base Monday (perfect CANSLIM)
RSYS Attempting a high tight flag? accelerating
BFCI another perfect CANSLIM (most volume in last year)
INDYY nice CANSLIM here. No base, but is this just a breather?
AFCI we have lift off
MGG if the market drops they will weather the storm better plus they have the earnings to back a nice run
TARO making some money here. Nice pattern
BRCM I don't care how over valued these guys are, they are an accelerating CANSLIM'ed stock
COHR the stock price is finally becoming coherent with earnings
DOX Now that's a base

And yes Bruce we'd all like a better prospect on the M for Monday, but I think we'll be down at the open due to Bill's great downfall (I hope), but the afternoon we should see a rebound. Part of the drop will be profit taking by individuals after great weeks in companies such as JDSU QCOM and just about every tech company including a few lofty veterans like AOL (which should be the biggest winner of the ninetees before it is over). Right now if I had to choose, I'd pick MGG. With an unsure market I think they'd be a good bet. They are a fairly stable company. But all I am doing now is selling half of my AVRT.
