RE "Is this TA?" Yes, those are all TA indicators. The TA I do is not based on those sorts of indicators, but rather is Trendline Analysis. Mine is more visual than mathematical. (Though it has a perfect good mathematical justification in terms of moving averages and percentage rises above them.) The closest thing they have listed is Bollinger Bands. As for what those links you give are saying, we pretty much agree. Long and medium term both JDSU and QCOM are strong up-trending stocks. Short term, JDSU is overbought and liable to turn down. QCOM, short term, is not yet showing any signs of weakness.
