Lee--In a system with chaos there is order to a point. The analogy that is often given is a stream of cigarette smoke. In the beginning the smoke leaves in an orderly manner then breaks up. It is impossible to know when complete disorder will come in. At any given point after the smoke stream leaves the cigarette it can break into full chaos. In terms of chili in Texas, one can see the orderly progression of diners right up to the point of realization of just how many jalapeno, habanero, and serrano chilis grown in beds of napalm you sadistic, psychotic Texans add to the mix. At that point chaos sets in. The orderly stream of diners will become chaotic as they look for milk, beer, ice tea, or antifreeze to try to cool down their mouths. As for the problems of observation that is a given. Anyone trying to observe and measure the effects of a bunch of Texans eating beans, garlic bread and drinking beer is going to have some skewed results. <<In true chaos, the mind will try to focus....which is not possible in a chaos system>> Truer words were never spoken, try getting your mind to focus after you have a couple of sixers of beer in you to take the fire out of your mouth and the guy sitting next to you can not only rip a loud one, he is causing structural damage to the converted barn you are in. In the meantime the wife of the guy serving garlic bread keeps telling you she wants to "Get you out back and show you some real Southern hospitality." While her husband looks like he would need a couple of limbs removed if you are hoping for a fair fight. Druss Bread dressing for cornbread dressing would get you lynched at any Texas cookout I ever went to.
