Harry; thank you. I'll read it over the wheaties.

A peek suffices to reassure that Autumn hasn't changed. She always seemed so much more spring (also, as in coiled!) than autumn.

Wally: I am a subscriber to Birinyi's newsletter and as of October his targets were Dow
12k and S & P 1500 by end of year. I wonder what AG would do if those targets were
achieved <g>?

B2B Overview

Hi Mark - Pick up the November 1999 issue of RedHerring. They have a special
section discussing B2B exchanges. There are seventeen different sections covered. I
have not finished reading the different sections but it does provide a good overview of
B2B type transactions. This appears to be a huge growth area providing significant
"potential" efficiencies for medium and large businesses.

Here are some links referenced in the RedHerring magazine articles:
redherring.com
redherring.com
redherring.com

One specific area that interests me is the B2B bandwidth exchanges (pg-204-
November 1999 RedHerring). These companies provide real-time exchanges for
switched minutes, IP packets, bandwidth "on demand",and co-location Internet
services. The companies listed in the article include:

Arbinet Communications (http://www.arbinet.com)
Asia Capacity Exchange (http://www.ACE-ASIA.com
Brand-X (http://www.BAND-X.com)
Enron Communications (http://www.enron.net)
Global TeleExchange (http://www.thegtx.com)
InterXion (http://www.INTERXION.com)
Min-X (http://www.MIN-X.com)
RateXchange (http://RATEXCHANGE.com)

There are lots of opportunities in B2B exchanges. The Internet brings together the
buyers and sellers of products and services and allows for efficient "real time"
transactions.
