You are absolutely correct; it is pyschology. I practically begged a close friend to put 10 grand in the Q when it was around 100/share. She didn't want to buy a hundred dollar stock.I tried to explain that a 30% rise in the stock is the same dollar increase whether the shares cost $20 or $100, to no avail. Another friend put $10,000 at about the same time on my recommendation, purchasing just 90 shares at $109/share. His $10,000 investment is now worth about $24,000. He is a happy camper, indeed.

lynn, i think you are right. everyone i've been telling Q about says the samething. $200.00!!! for a stock!!!
i don't even dare suggest it at almost $300.00 they might try to have me committed.
i didn't understand it then and i still don't!
