Mariner, thanks for the excellent review of JDSU. This one seems a parallel to AMAT, and we know what's happened to it since 1990....about a buck back then (considering splits) and $97 now, and a history of acquisitions to fill in missing pieces. It's been volatile...along with the chip market...but the LTB&H investors have done very, very well.

JDSU, and gorilla timing, and P/S ratios:

Really appreciate the posts this AM by Mariner, Tekboy and Bruce Brown.

JDSU is a king; does one jump in now at any cost, or wait for the pullback?

Bruce, I think widely circulated information that isn't copyrighted, or paid for by its membership for the privilege, should be fair game to disseminate. I post other people's posts from elsewhere on SI, with the view that this is a free (to lurkers) forum, with thousands participating. I subscribe to GG's newsletter, and occasionally describe his concerns here, but don't republish the whole newsletter.
