TRACK DATA ANNOUNCED TODAY ITS PLANS FOR RELEASE OF myTrack-Web,
A WEBSITE-BASED ONLINE TRADING PLATFORM

NEW YORK, NY-November 8, 1999-Track Data Corporation
(Nasdaq NMS: TRAC) announced today that it plans to offer
myTrack-Web, a version of its successful myTrack online trading
system that will allow customers to trade from its website.
The system is expected to be available in approximately 30 days.

myTrack has offered its software-based online trading system since
April, 1999. The system was fully operational in June and is
currently executing more than 2,000 trades per day. While the
system has consistently drawn rave reviews from the customer base,
there was also a need to allow customers to trade when they are
not at their own pc, but are still able to gain access to the
Internet from another pc or web-tv.

Barry Hertz, Chairman and CEO, said, "We are very excited about
the introduction of myTrack-Web. Quite a few people tried to
load the myTrack software at their place of business and found
that there were fire wall restrictions that prevented a successful
connection, keeping them from becoming trading customers. Now
those people will be able to access our website and trade the same
way that our major competitors provide trading. While myTrack
remains the best way to trade, there is also a world of online
traders that are not ready to engage in the use of a software-based
system. We believe many of these traders will upgrade to myTrack
once they understand the benefits and are comfortable trading with
myTrack-Web. This offering will mean that any customer can trade
comfortably using one or a combination of both of our systems."

Mr. Hertz further commented, "Our system has not been rated by
Gomez and some of the other popular surveys because they only rate
website-based systems. myTrack-Web gives us an opportunity to be
included in such surveys."

myTrack is a fully integrated Internet-based online trading and
market data system. Trading is offered at prices starting at
$12.95 per trade. myTrack is delivered over the Internet powered
by application-based software and a constant server connection similar
to systems used by professionals, as compared to most of its
competitors that provide their service over HTML website-based static
pages. myTrack delivers free streaming delayed quotes and unlimited
free real-time extended quotes, as well as breaking company news, a
trade by trade log, charting for technical analysis and a proprietary
library of intraday market statistics. For $19.98 per month plus
exchange fees, users can subscribe to streaming real-time quotes. A
menu of features, including Nasdaq Level II, is available separately
or in value packages.

Track Data provides real-time financial market data, news, fundamental
research, charting and analytical services to institutional and
individual investors through dedicated telecommunication lines and the
Internet. The Company also offers online trading through its myTrack
Internet-based personal investment service. myTrack is an Internet-based
software application that is not restricted by the limitations of an HTML
website-based static system offered by virtually all of its well-known
competitors such as E*Trade (Nasdaq: EGRP), Schwab (NYSE: SCH) and
Ameritrade (Nasdaq: AMTD). myTrack delivers a continuous dynamic stream
of live market data and investors' online trading activity. The system is
always connected and is an order of magnitude faster than competing
website-based systems. Download myTrack software or open a trading
account at mytrack.com or call 1-800-myTrack. For information
about myTrack's SDK, go to mytrack.com.
