Art, what I like about it is that this is a fairly conservative judge, a Reagan appointee, who is not inclined to give any advantage to "the heavy hand of Government" -- government regulation, as a solution to macro-economic problems. My understanding is that he split the phases in the case in such a way as to permit the maximum amount of lattitude for the parties to come to an agreement, without imposing solutions by the Court. That has to be good for all.
Finally, the decision is being hailed more by the liberal, consumer oriented segments of the politico-media talking heads than by the folks you would generally expect to be pro-"free - enterprise"... So there should be very widespread acceptance of whatever actions become necessary.
As investors, imho, we can only gain. Time to find the "Next MSFT", I guess..
