The Seagate drives are a 10.2 gb Medalist 10232 ultra ata/66 or a ST 310232a Medalist. I think they are 2 platters. Since the Western Digital Caviar drives have been around since at least last August and last April for one supplier, I think they are two platter also. These companies might have made a little money on them when they were $150.
