M: Webpage is a MAJOR short sighted failure IMO. As the wholesaler, as the integrator, as the focal point, as the flippen driver of the whole affair, Globalstar's website should be the one place anyone should be able to go to get any and all information. Every SP should input and extract whatever data they deem important. Every SP should have a presence on the page. Place firewalls as appropriate, but get all the information on the website. The real shame here is that G* (as in the California presence) has access to the best web people in the world, the SP's would not have to do anything - other than use the site.

As a group we are well ahead of the curve when it comes to using and grasping the usefulness of the net. We get a bit impatient with the laggards.

And I would add that as a group, the SPs are well behind the curve. Bernie is not even on the curve! It is clear he does not place much value on the potential of information integration offered by the web. Perhaps is was the Zenit affair which soured him. I can see where he might be a bit internet shy after that. Too bad he does not realize the failure was too little information on the web, not too much.

Right next to the minutes used chart should be the real time telemetry of the launch vehicle putting up the next set of satellites!

Maurice,

I guess my hits to that site have been counted many times. Maurice, th link shows G* rep. office in Beijing. The Chinese site consists of almost all direct translations of G* site in US here except one line. It did provide the Chinese distributor's web site and its name (a sub. of China Telcomm.)

chinaspacecom.com

This is the compnay will distribute G*, I*, and APMT sat. phones to its customers. Scroll down to the bottom with the following link you will find an email address reg. G* phone.

chinaspacecom.com

It is in English. I already wrote my email to ask for G phone and the starting date. No answer so far. May be we all can contribute by writing emails to ask. How about that?
