You are right. It was a material event. Suppose, for example, that either through deception or inside knowledge I had prepared an article on VLNC predicting (1) VLNC would soon be bought out and/or (2) it was on the verge of having approved a patent with dynamite potential; and suppose that I succeeded in having that article published in, say, the San Francisco Chronicle business section. Would it be incumbent on VLNC to address this issue? Of course it would. If you review the Hanil announcement carefully you will see that it screams out for some sort of elucidation by VLNC, its partner. I have said for more than a year that the VLNC leadership -- whether in its public presentations or in its reporting requirements -- has not been sufficiently forthcoming. I personally feel it has treated its stockholders with a barely disguised contempt. If it happens again this month, watch out!

Djoo & J.M.: I understand your concerns, as I've some of the same as it relates to VLNC management's reticence in discussing where they stand. However, as it relates to the Hanil announcement...well, this appears to be an arms length 50/50 partnership between two separate entities. As such VLNC is under no legal requirement(as far as I know, but I'll admit I could be wrong) to match Hanil's announcement with one of their own. This despite however much we shareholders can infer from it, based on what we know of N.I.'s product(s) having been dispatched to Hanil, that N.I. "must" be somewhere as close if not on a parallel track with Hanil.

Meanwhile, I see the games are still being played with the trading characteristics of this stock. Something which I expect, given all the focus on this next call. Now let's see how it goes....
